With this yellow Service T-disc, it is easy to clean and descale your Tassimo machine. The first time you see a service disc, you may with reason wonder how it actually works? At first sight, it just looks like a piece of plastic. All you really need to know is that a service disc is like a key that starts Tassimo's cleaning and descaling programmes. To clean your Tassimo, simply place the service disc in the capsule holder (with the barcode facing down) and put a cup under the spout. Then all you have to do is press the brewing button on your machine. Your machine will read the barcode and activate the machine's cleaning programme without you having to take any further action. For descaling, the procedure is the same as for the cleaning programme, but you must remember to insert a descaling tablet in the water tank, then hold down the brewing button for five seconds to activate descaling.
