This Smoochum (nicknamed Smoochy) is an ice/psychic-type Pokémon owned by Brad Van Darn. Since Brad had to hide from the girl crowd, he gave the heroes his Smoochum and went away. Brock put his hat on, causing the girls to be attracted to him, mistaking him to be Brad. Smoochum, Togepi and Pikachu followed a Skiploom bot, then got captured by Team Rocket.
