A traditional warm-white LED bulb that can also produce Red, Green, and Blue, or any of 16-million colors possible using a combination of RGB colors using the free smartphone app. You can select any color, and any brightness level from 0-100%. It is plug-and-play. You just replace your current bulb, download the app, and enjoy the world of possibilities using either your traditional warm white or 16 million different colors. It also includes dimming! If you maintain an internet connection with an onboard WiFi router, then full control when away from the boat is also possible. This side mount G4 bi-pin bulb is designed to fit in your 12VDC or 24VDC salon or cabin downlights that use a side-mounted G4 halogen bulb. Its output is equal to a 20W halogen G4, and can be dimmed using the app to whatever brightness level you prefer.

Note: Unlike some RGB LEDs which create their white light by mixing the RGB colors, this bulb uses 9 separate warm white high-output LEDs for its normal use as cabin lighting. In addition, there are 6 high-output RGB LEDs, to provide the colored lighting in more subdued tones. Great for creating night vision pre-sets in red or green.

The App

These bulbs connect to your smartphone or tablets over Bluetooth utilizing the Tuya app, which is one of the world's most popular home automation apps for Android and iPhone/iOS devices.
The app includes a gateway to then connect your phone to your home or boat's router enabling long distance control over the internet (bulb's must have power for the Bluetooth connection).
The possibilities using the app are endless. You can name rooms or cabins, and assign lighting and colors to each area. You can turn on or off groups or cabins, or the whole boat by creating pre-sets. Timers are easy for dusk to dawn operation, security, etc.
Even synchronizing lamps and colors to music is easy when you are ready to party!
