The Light-Link is an HDMI over Fiber cable that sends the video information through optical fiber. Because it uses fiber, it can send the signal instantly with no perceptible latency at longer distances than regular copper HDMI cables. It also can send much higher resolutions up to 8K at these distances due to the high data throughput of fiber.

This 1x2 HDMI Splitter and Extender kit lets you split one HDMI signal to two displays using cat5e/6 cable, and extend it up to 160ft. Local HDMI Loop-out The sender unit also features an extra HDMI OUT so you can have a Local Display at the sender location in addition to the 2 remote displays. How it works This kit comes with one sender/splitter unit and two receiver units. Simply connect one to eight receiver units to the sender with Cat5e/6 cable.

How it Works The converters inside the cable heads convert incoming electrical signal into optical on one end, and back into electrical on the other end. The Light-Link is composed of fiber cables and copper cables.

The Light-Link is a USB 3.0 Fiber Optic Cable. Because it uses fiber, it can send the signal instantly with no perceptible latency at much longer distances than regular USB extenders. Note: The 50 and 100 ft versions of this cable are compatible with devices that are USB 2.0 as well as USB 3.0, but it has to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port in order to function! The 30 ft is currently only compatible with USB 3.0 devices.
